Tony Scott Jumps Off Bridge

This is not an action movie. This is real life.

Top Hollywood director Tony Scott, 68, seemed to have committed suicide by jumping to his death on August 19, 2012 from the Vincent Thomas Bridge that spans from San Pedro to the Terminal Island in Los Angeles Harbor, LA, CA, USA.

The police is initially ruling this as an apparent suicide because of the circumstances and the suicide note found at his office. However, investigations are still ongoing.

Scott is the younger brother of another famed Hollywood director, Ridley Scott. He is remembered for his works in Days of Thunder, Top Gun, and Beverly Hills Cop II.

It was not revealed yet why he took his own life. The director is survived by his wife, actress Dana Scott, and their twin sons.
