To continue its environmental awareness campaign, SM City Bacolod will hold a Green Film Festival which will feature free showing of selected award-winning documentaries by BBC and Discovery on February 10, 2010 from 8AM – 4PM at SM Cinema 3.
SM urges schools to attend the free screening as a way of educating the youth on pressing issues such as climate change. Schools may coordinate with the public relations department of the mall admin office and attend all screenings or select a slot from the schedule: 8AM – State of the Planet, 10AM – The 11th Hour, 12NN – Warnings of the Wild, and 4PM – Planet Earth.
The SM Environment Committee specifically aims to promote environmental sustainability through mall, tenant and community endeavors while simultaneously combining going green with good business. (SOURCE)
