G-Post — Last Christmas, I felt like going out on a movie date with hubby. But as it turned out, there was really nothing “screen-worthy”, that is, something that is really worth taking out our precious dough and spending it on a film.
Additionally, we got so busy with going back and forth my parents’ house as well as the parties that attended that we hardly had time to sneak out for some entertainment.
But at least we had some vacation on New Year’s Eve. We traveled for five hours to a different province and stayed in a very nice hotel with a swimming pool. Too bad we did not have the time to take advantage of their amenities. I am not sure if their pool was powered by one of those pentair pool pumps but it was nice and clean. Too bad…that was my only regret.
Anyway, I still can’t say that we are back to normal around here. We are still not living in our own house but rather at my parents’ place, sort of like caretakers. Haha And when we go back, it will not be the same again—thanks to this pleasant new surprise in our lives. Will let you in on it later *wink*…when we have informed some very important people.
