Ukuleles for Sale

When we went to Cebu City a couple of months back for our family vacation, we made sure that we passed by a guitar store because this province is really known nationwide for their fine acoustic guitars.

Dindin enjoyed the trip to the guitar store in downtown Cebu where she got to choose among the many guitars and ukuleles for sale–big and small. She would ask for one, strum it, and then give it back. She settled for a third unit–a small ukulele that cost us P125.

Maybe when she is older, we will let her take guitar lessons and then that would be the time to get her a real guitar. But since it is big, we might just find her a guitar in the local stores. But that was quite an experience for her and we were happy to have brought her there.

Sleeping Early in the Morning

No I am not talking about sleeping in the mornings when I should be working. I am talking about sleeping late that continues into early morning.

And why? That is because we watch Law & Order SVU! Yes, up until now the addiction hasn’t stopped and almost every night, hubby and I watch at least one episode of the show. If I can’t sleep yet, we continue up to three episodes! And what makes it something to write about? We start around 12 midnight, sometimes around 1 am, so that means we end up around 3 or so AM! waaaaaa And still I have to wake up around 7:30am to get Dindin ready for school.

Of course I know that I could not do this if I am working in the office. That is one of the perks of a work at home mom. But this TV addiction has got to stop because I also need to sleep. I need to turn off the TV after one episode. I mean if only it is for unwinding. LOL Now, I have a couple of zits on my face, thanks to SVU! LOL And you know what? I think I am starting a crush on Christopher Meloni. hahahaha

Watching er Listening to G-Force

Hubby couldn’t sleep so he turned on G-Force. Honestly, I don’t know what it is but I am catching glimpses of the scenes and I see a lot of mice…talking mice.

Instead of watching, I am listening to the dialogue, like a radio drama. LOL But sadly, it is not working. I will have to catch this one next time. teehee Maybe when hubby is not around.

Ahhh…I really would like to watch a movie with him right now but it is just that I am busy and swamped with some many things to do–writing and designing stuff. Thank God for all these tasks–the movie date can wait. hehe You see, when it rains it pours so I have to strike while the iron is hot. If you get what I mean. This doesn’t happen everyday so I have to make the most of the opportunity. :D

One down…three more to go. I have to grab a sandwich and milk. hehe
