Real-life lovers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, whose love story started with the Twilight fame, faced the biggest crisis in their relationship–infidelity.
While infidelity is not uncommon to many couples, I just kinda feel bad for Pattinson. And I am not a Twilight fan. So I can understand why so many fans are irate at Kristen.
And I am not practicing a double standard in terms of accepting a male’s infidelity while a woman is ostracized much. It is just that males are commonly labeled as the liars and cheaters in the relationship. Here is one guy who values love and monogamy in a relationship so much and he found a girl who does not respect that.
Seriously, I always think that cheaters should be lumped together so that they will know how painful it is when a lover goes to the other side of the fence. Anyway, I do hope that Robert will find a lady love who will be true to him. Gosh…and I am not even a fan! But cheating is cheating and betrayal is a tough thing.
To those who do not know the story: Kristen Stewart was caught on cam in compromising positions with Rupert Sanders–the director of her recent film, Snow White and the Huntsmen. The photos were published and the whole Twilight world was shaken. Sanders is married man and has two kids. He has much to lose in this controversy. But another question is being asked: Will this affect the next Twilight movie? We will see.
