This is my entry to Mommy Kikamz’ Own It On DVD Give-Away:
One of the movies I wanted to own and add into my DVD collection is the movie, The Notebook. This movie is quite memorable for me. It was the first love story movie that my husband and I watched when we decided to get back together after a marital separation for two years. He said that he wanted for us to watch it together so that we will be inspired to pursue our marriage till the end and be reminded of what true love really meant.
Our separation was hard for us and our children. We parted ways in 2004 due to some third party problems but decided to reunite last 2006. Last year, we had our third baby, Bella Grace, and just last month, we celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary.
The movie, The Notebook, was a great influence in our marriage. My husband is not into love stories but this one made an impact on him and our marriage. I hopefully want to own it on DVD!!
