My family and I finally met Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Queen, the Red Queen and many others last March 5, 2010 at SM City Bacolod. We were excited to see the movie after we thought it was already on the big screen by the 3rd of March. We were wrong. Alice in Wonderland was released at the Philippines’ big screen last March 4 and in IMAX 3D (SM North EDSA IMAX Theater only) last March 5.

Anyway, at first I thought my children would not appreciate the movie because I have read many movie reviews that this gloomy side of Alice in Wonderland might pose as a scary movie for them but I was wrong. My children, Micah – 9 years old and Johann – 6 years old, were not scared at all. They enjoyed the movie and laughed at the scenes where they thought of it as funny (specially the scenes of the Mad Hatter and the Red Queen).
The movie was indeed enjoyable. I expected a remake of the common Alice in Wonderland story but I was in for a great surprise. The Alice in this movie is already 19 years old. She is about to make a decision in her life when she saw the white rabbit wearing a waistcoat. She followed it and then fall down unto the rabbit hole going to the Underland (where Alice called it Wonderland in her first visit). When she arrived, she found out that her new adventure awaits!
Alice in Wonderland is still on the big screen and in IMAX 3D. Catch it now before you will be late for the tea party!!
By the way, if you’re in the mood to get fabulous Alice in Wonderland collectibles, join Azrael’s Merryland’s Alice in Wonderland Online Contest. You can win this prop replica of the White Rabbit’s pocket watch! To join, simply visit Azrael’s contest post for more details.

Anyway, hope my children and I will win this prop replica! It would definitely be a blast for us!!
