I had been highly entertained with witty car bumper stickers that convey many different messages. Some are hard hitting while some are hands-down funny. At least, these keep me amused for awhile while stuck in traffic and I could not see anything more than the rear of the car in front of us.

Additionally, we are in the business of making customized vinyl stickers so we really notice these things, including the installation and the finish. hehe We also scrutinized decals in store window displays in order to know if we are also competitive in terms of workmanship and quality. Gee. It has become a habit. LOL

Anywaym now that elections are campaign, we would again be seeing stickers with messages or names of political candidates. This year, we are already seeingObama 2012 bumper stickers. And for sure, there will be more in the coming months, especially as the elections draw near.

This is good for those in the sticker business! LOL

Julia Roberts plays the role of the wicked queen who wants to be forever beautiful.

I have always liked Julia Roberts and I laughed so hard when I saw the trailer for her upcoming film, Mirror Mirror, a twisted tale from the classic fairy tale, Snow White.

Anyway, watching the trailer on You Tube, I just got excited. This is a new role for Miss Roberts and she plays it perfectly. I just think though that Lily Collins–the actress who plays Snow White–does not look pretty at all. But Julia Roberts–as the wicked stepmother–is beautiful…and utterly deceiving. LOL

It is coming on March 16, 2012 and I am just so excited with it.

January is just the month of American movie awards because it marks the achievements of actors, actresses, and production people after one year. Another glamorous awards night before the Academy Awards 2012 is the 18th Screen Actors Guild Awards, or better known as the SAG Awards. It is actually an award giving body of actors, by actors, and to actors. Sorry if I made it sound rather self-serving. LOL

But it is nice and glamorous and at least, the actors may have different thoughts that the other award-giving bodies, right? And so it is another opportunity for some less recognized actors to also win awards. Additionally, it is another reason to glam up.

Easy A stars Emma Watson

Easy A is the first movie I watched that starred Emma Watson. She is super cute in this flick.

This is a teenage film that has a some drama, some humorous situations (especially with the Penderghast family situations), and deep sensitivities in our culture, such as teen sex, losing virginity, sexually-transmitted diseases, divorce, and peer pressure.

It has a lot of narratives told in the first person by Stone, who plays the role of Olive Penderghast.

The movie is loosely based in the classic novel The Scarlett Letter, while criticizing the movie adaptation that starred Demi Moore.

My husband and I were highly entertained. This was one of the movies that we watched after midnight while munching on junk food.

Easy A stars Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Cam Gigandet, Thomas Haden Church, Patricia Clarkson, Lisa Kudrow, Malcolm McDowell, Alyson Michalka, and Stanley Tucci. The story was written by Bert V. Royal while the film was directed by Will Gluck.

When you are already married, you adjust your lifestyle to accommodate your other half. That includes your daily routine, your household tasks, and of course, your choices for entertainment.

Since you are two different people, it is more likely than not that you have different ideas for something entertaining. It is like a ‘He said-She said’ issue. And the matter here is to compromise in order to make both parties happy. After all, what makes marriage fulfilling is the give and take relationship that couples share. If only one takes and takes and the other one just gives and gives, the relationship can get tiring and worse, abusive.

For example, the wife likes watching romantic comedy films, reading, baking, sewing, swimming, going to the spa, or going on a picnic in the park. Meanwhile, the husband may prefer watching sports shows, gardening, tinkering in the work shed, assembling toys, playing poker insider with friends, or shooting some baskets.

With that for sure, both parties can find something that they can do together. The wife, for instance, can arrange a poker party at home so that the husbands can play with their wives. Or the wives can just come over in order to support their husbands or they can have ‘girl talk’ while the men play. Or the husband can join his wife when she wants to watch a romantic-comedy movie. It is really just a matter of talking it out and doing something together. Well, yes, it entails some creativity, but you can always work on it.

Marriage is something that we should work on more than our careers or money. And since entertainment is one aspect that is usually fought over, then we should really make compromises on this one in order to lessen the arguments in the marriage. It will also forge a stronger bond between the husband and wife.

Natalie Wood was an actress who died in 1981. It was an evening with her husband, fellow actor Robert Wagner, and her co-star Christopher Walken–the couple’s friend. Her body was just washed ashore the next day and investigators learned that she was alive quite awhile in the water. It was reported an accident.

But last year, the investigation into Wood’s death was reopened when there were new witnesses who came forward saying that they have new evidence into case. About 3 months later, police say that there was no more evidence other than the existing ones. And everything just pointed to one direction–the death of Natalie Wood was an accident.

I have watched the Disney-Pixar animated movie ‘Up’ where an aging widower set out for the greatest adventure of his life when he tied thousands of helium balloons on his house so that he can go free. I really loved it and although I am not about to go the adventure like his, I would like to imagine myself floating like that. hahaha Okay, I know I am such a dreamer!

Anyway, in a show at the National Geographic Channel, they recreated the flying house scene in California and here is the video clip below.

Still it does not stop me from dreaming that one day, I will be able to do this. LOL
