Angelina Jolie as Maleficent
Angelina Jolie will play the title role in the movie, “Maleficent”. For those who do not know who this character is, Maleficent is the nemesis of the Disney Princess story, Sleeping Beauty.
But instead of focusing on Aurora, our sleeping princess, this film is about the villainess and how she came to be.
It is just interesting that Jolie was chosen for the role and I think she fits it to a T. Her looks is jsut the type for this role and with the addition of some prosthetic makeup, she is perfect. I also believe that her tall and languid stance, her voice, her lips, and her angst, all contributed to making her the perfect Maleficent.
Jolie sports two horns, protruding cheekbones, yellow eyes, and dark red lips for her role.
“Maleficent” is a live-action, 3-D fantasy film from Disney that is due in theaters on March 14, 2014. It also stars Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora, Juno Temple, Brenton Thwaites, Miranda Richardson, Sharlto Copley, and India Eisley, as the young Maleficent.
